Jalen Davis began his journey in Ohio’s legal cannabis industry in August 2021 at Harvest of Ohio's first Black-owned vertically integrated cannabis business, as a Dispensary Associate at Harvest of Columbus. Rebranded as Mavuno of Ohio in 2024 as a retail-only cannabis business, with a dispensary in Athens and two provisional licenses in Cleveland and South Euclid, Jalen continued his progression into roles with greater responsibility.

One of his most significant undertakings was the successful launch of Mavuno of Cleveland on March 17, 2026, through construction, compliance oversight, and new store operations and staff training.

As its General Manager, Jalen stays rooted in the retail experience, while emphasizing Mavuno's core pillars of culture, cannabis education, and community. He leads and inspires his team to fulfill the company mission, to improve lives through the goodness of cannabis, while drawing from a diverse range of industry knowledge across Ohio to build knowledgeable, high-performing teams.
