OCHBS is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, professional, and harassment-free experience for everyone—attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, staff, vendors, venue personnel, and guests. This Code of Conduct applies to all official OCHBS spaces, including in-person venues, offsite events, after-hours programming that is part of the official schedule, and online/digital communities operated by OCHBS.
Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, report it immediately:
Email: support@ochbs.com
Or notify event staff/security on-site (look for event credentials/badges)
When making a report, include (if possible): names/description of involved parties, location, time, what happened, and any witnesses. We will handle reports as discreetly as reasonably possible.
Security compliance
All attendees must comply with security screening and venue policies. OCHBS and the venue may deny entry to anyone who refuses screening or violates venue rules.
Prohibited items (examples)
Subject to venue policies and applicable law, prohibited items may include:
Weapons or weapon-like items
Explosives, fireworks, or hazardous materials
Illegal drugs or controlled substances not permitted by law
Any item intended to intimidate, threaten, or disrupt
OCHBS may take any action deemed necessary, including:
Verbal warning
Removal from a session or exhibit hall
Revocation of credentials (without refund)
Involvement of venue security or law enforcement
Banning from future events
OCHBS is an educational and business summit. We do not permit cannabis sales or distribution at OCHBS events.
No cannabis sales, transfers, or exchanges on-site: Attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors may not sell, distribute, or transfer cannabis products at any OCHBS venue, booth, session, or affiliated event space. This includes “gifting,” “donations,” “trades,” or any form of product exchange.
No public consumption at OCHBS: Smoking, vaping, or consuming cannabis is prohibited in event spaces and anywhere the venue prohibits it. Ohio law allows property owners and venues to prohibit accommodating cannabis use, and OCHBS exercises that right across all official event spaces.
Vendor/exhibitor compliance: Licensed operators and brands must follow applicable Ohio rules and venue policies. Ohio regulators have specifically contemplated restrictions around cannabis promotion and presence at scheduled events (including conferences and trade shows).
Operate within their assigned spaces
Follow venue fire codes, electrical rules, and load-in/load-out schedules
Avoid aggressive, harassing, or deceptive sales practices
Comply with brand and promotional guidelines issued by OCHBS
OCHBS may require modification or removal of materials that violate policies or applicable law.
Anti-harassment commitment – Harassment will not be tolerated. This includes conduct in-person and via digital channels used for the event (apps, chat groups, DMs, email). OCHBS expects professional behavior at all times.
Questions – For questions about these rules or to request accommodations, contact support@ochbs.com.
