Tyler is the Head Grower at Klutch Cannabis, where he leads large-scale cultivation operations in Akron, Ohio. Before entering the cannabis industry, Tyler served as Director of Field Operations in the pest control industry, building a foundation in pest management, team leadership, and large-scale operations that continues to influence his approach to cultivation today.

Since joining Klutch, Tyler has gained experience across multiple sides of cannabis production. He began in cultivation, developing a strong understanding of plant health, mother stock and vegetative production, IPM, and irrigation. His career later took him into processing, where he progressed through refinement and CO₂ extraction before ultimately leading Klutch’s hydrocarbon extraction lab. In that role, he helped elevate quality and refine processes to consistently produce high-quality concentrates, while gaining a unique understanding of how cultivation decisions influence downstream processing and the finished product.

That broader perspective eventually brought Tyler back to cultivation, where he advanced into the Head Grower role. He played an integral part in launching and scaling Klutch’s newest cultivation facility, helping shape the systems and strategies behind an operation that maintains upwards of 15,000 plants and over 120 unique cultivars.

Today, Tyler brings a hands-on perspective to cultivation leadership, combining experience across plant production, processing, and operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
