Sam Brenkus's BIO
Throughout the last 16 years, I have spent my time learning about and practicing cannabis horticulture and biology. My initial experiences began with working for 2 years in commercial greenhouses.
Academic experiences started at Kent State University. I acquired a BA in Biology with a concentration in Plant Biology. This experience helped me understand plant physiological processes, environment manipulation and what a plants needs are to reach their full genetic potential.
While attending Kent State University, I started teaching as Lead Horticulture Instructor/Developer at the Cleveland School of Cannabis. I developed the original horticulture curriculum for this career school which focused on cannabis education.
My commercial cannabis cultivation experiences began in September 2018. I started working with Riviera Creek LLC as the Director of Cultivation. Our methods of growing differ from traditional cannabis cultivation facilities. Our method is Aeroponic Cannabis Cultivation. We have learned a lot in the last 7 seven years and there is much more to learn. We have fun everyday and it never gets boring as we continue to try and improve our processes.
