I spent most of my childhood moving from one Air Force base to another. During a high school research project, I discovered my fascination with cannabis. I spent the night learning about the potential medicinal benefits and cultivation techniques. This began A lifelong passion for cannabis and the industry surrounding it.
In the spring of 2021, I decided to leave the veterinary medical field. I worked as a veterinary technician for 10 years, and I am starting a new career at Ascension Biomedical as a cultivation technician, where I continue to learn and expand my cannabis cultivation expertise.
When I am not in the cultivation space, I am out enjoying Ohio’s many natural resources. From fall through early spring, I am chasing steelhead up and down the many Lake Erie tributaries. During the warmer months, I enjoy hiking, foraging, gardening, and golf. I love the community that surrounds cannabis. Be it talking about the plant and the techniques for cultivating it, or listening to people’s experiences with cannabis and sharing my own.
