Christine DeJesus is Director of Cultivation and General Manager of Galenas – a tier two Certified Kind cannabis grower with operations in Ohio and Michigan.
Christine designed the organic production methods for over 40,000 cannabis plants and is in her fifth year with the company. Before entering cannabis agriculture, she ran a farm for Great Lakes Brewing Company, wrote the horticulture curriculum for the Cleveland School of Cannabis, and co-founded the non-profit organization, The Midwest CannaWomen.
She is a columnist for Cannabis Business Times, and spent many years in cannabis and environmental activism, most notably with the Marijuana Policy Project. She is a graduate of Kent State University and has a Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
