How to Mindfully Consume Cannabis

Cannabis can be a very different experience from one person to the next, and understanding a few basics can make it easier to find what works for you.

This panel explores the factors that shape a cannabis experience, from cannabinoids and terpenes to product types, consumption methods, dosing, and the endocannabinoid system. Panelists break down what consumers should know before choosing a product, why smoking, vaping, edibles, and other formats can feel different, and how to approach cannabis with more intention and awareness. The discussion also covers why THC level alone does not determine the experience, and why other cannabinoids and terpenes can be important considerations.

Rather than starting with “How much should I take?”, this conversation encourages attendees to first think about what they are consuming, why they are choosing it, and what kind of experience they are looking for.

Attendees will take away: the basics of cannabinoids and terpenes and how different products can vary; how smoking, vaping, edibles, and other consumption methods differ; what to consider when deciding how much to consume; a simple introduction to the endocannabinoid system; and how to make more informed and intentional cannabis choices.
