Extract Consultants was founded in 2015 by lifelong friends and family who saw what the emerging cannabis market was missing: safe, innovative, flavorful solutions built to a real standard. They didn't stumble into this industry; they were built for it.
That foundation runs in the family. Rob and Maxwell Brown carried a legacy in flavor and aromatics; Kurt Mestros added 20 years of pharmaceutical discipline, and Bob Schuessler a practitioner's rigor in food science. A single talk on terpenes in Oregon left Rob with one conviction: do it right. Together they set out to build the supplier they'd want to buy from.
What launched with ten isolates and one promise, buy the product, and the consultation comes free, is now a full-scale flavor house pairing deep R&D with an education-first approach, backed by rigorous testing and a commitment to safety, quality, and creativity.
