State Representative Eric Synenberg is currently serving his first term in the Ohio House, representing the 21st District, which includes Beachwood, Euclid, Lyndhurst, South Euclid, University Heights, and part of Cleveland.
During the course of his career, Representative Synenberg has worked in both the private sector and as Deputy Counsel for the Ohio State Treasurer’s Office. From 2018 to 2024, he served on Beachwood City Council, where he was Vice President and chaired several key committees, including Economic Development, Finance, Legal & Personnel, and Safety.
In the Ohio House, he serves as the ranking member on the House Financial Institutions Committee and sits on the House Judiciary and General Government Committees.
Outside of elected office, Representative Synenberg has been active in local organizations such as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Coventry Village (Cleveland Heights) Special Improvement District, Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland, and the Northeast Ohio City Council Association.
Eric is proud to have graduated from two of Ohio’s fine universities. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Miami University (OH), a law degree from Cleveland State University, and a Master of Law in Taxation from the University of Miami (FL), School of Law.
