David Vaillencourt is an industry architect and leader in the global cannabis and cannabinoid sector, shaping its development through strategic advisory roles and consensus standards, and ensuring the industry’s growth is safe, equitable, and innovative. As CEO and Founder of The GMP Collective and Co-Founder and Board Chair of the nonprofit S3 Collective, David leads the development of the framework governing the emerging industry. His expertise lies in bridging the gap between regulation, public health, and safety by fostering collaboration among government officials, regulators, and industry stakeholders. He also leads the effort to establish market-relevant standards in his role as the elected Vice Chair of ASTM International’s Committee D37 on Cannabis. Outside of his professional endeavors, David enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains, embodying his love for adventure and the outdoors.
