Alyxandria (Alyx) Patrick, currently serving as the Ohio Retail Buyer for Consume Cannabis, an emerging leader in Ohio’s growing cannabis industry. I hold a degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Sociology from Miami University. My professional journey began in retail, where I worked as a Sales Manager for a Fortune 500 company before transitioning into the cannabis industry in 2021.
Starting as a dispensary agent, I was eager to immerse myself in the cannabis space, quickly advancing to roles in inventory advising and inventory management at a previous dispensary. In March of 2025, I stepped into my current role with Consume Cannabis; a company I’ve been with since before the opening of its first Ohio location in Oxford as an inventory coordinator. From assisting with foundational operations to building out our inventory systems, I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside the company every step of the way.
As the Ohio Retail Buyer, I am responsible for various duties such purchasing and procurement for all our retail locations in the state, coordinating joint promotional initiatives, managing delivery timelines, assisting with state inspections and configuring various discounts within both Dutchie and iHeartJane platforms. My strengths lie in building meaningful relationships with our vendors and partners. However, I am passionate about collaborative growth, continuous learning, and contributing to the company in any requested aspect.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my newly wedded husband and 14-year-old son. Whether we’re exploring new local restaurants in Oxford, playing video games, or enjoying music together, family is at the heart of my life. I’m also a strong supporter of local music, regularly attending concerts and cheering on my husband’s band. While at home, things are always lively with our seven cats and snake. In my personal time, I enjoy practicing poi, painting, reading, gardening, and connecting with friends.
Consume Cannabis may be new to the Ohio market, but we’re already making a strong impact in the industry. From the beginning, our mission has been to deliver a better cannabis experience; one rooted in both quality and education. As we continue to grow across Ohio, we remain committed to that promise and to serving the community with both integrity and care.
