After spending much of her life in chronic pain and illness due to misdiagnosed genetic and autoimmune diseases, Kelly became her own health advocate and found manageable relief through natural medicine like cannabis. Now, she’s on a mission to help others discover its benefits.
Kelly lives on a 3-acre farm in Portage County, Ohio, with her husband Christian and four kids, who they adopted seven years ago. On the farm, they grow their own food and cannabis, compost, and raise chickens—her kids even show them in 4-H!
For the past 20 years, Kelly has used social media to share her journey and amplify the voices of marginalized communities, amassing over 250,000 followers. Before joining the cannabis industry two years ago, she was a plus-size model, influencer and fat-positive activist and still enjoys this as a passion. For the last year, Kelly has been in the field, branding and improving the consumer experience with UB Good, a cannabis processor committed to helping people live better lives through clean, accessible cannabis while focusing on activity levels and enhancements like b-12, reishi mushrooms and minor cannabinoids.
Kelly now 40, enjoys hiking, swimming, farming, being creative and spending time with her family. She volunteers with her family through 4-H and is passionate about living intentionally and reducing her and her families carbon footprint. Cannabis has greatly improved her quality of life and thusly her family as well. Her goal is to continue to bring awareness to not only the benefits of cannabis but the inequity in this community as well.
